Configure your contact’s email carbon copy recipients, CC destinations configurable per the data model you are working with.

Steersman’s email CC module for Odoo ERP allows specifying additional contacts to automatically copy a message to when emailing a particular contact. That way, you can keep data standardized, with one email address per contact, but configure Odoo to duplicate the message to additional contacts. You will also avoid issues with payment processors and other integrations that require a single valid email address for a billing address.

The CC feature allows setting the copy email(s) to be different for different models - so you can set to copy to your customer’s AP department on invoices, but their receiving person for delivery notification emails.

As shown on this contact configuration screenshot, configure your CC recipients per model, or leave the “resource” field empty to set up to copy the specific contact for all messages.

Common resources that may have their special CC contacts:

  • Journal Entry (Invoice/Bill)
  • Picking (Delivery, Receipt, or other Stock Moves)
  • Sales order
  • Purchase order
  • Lead/Opportunity
  • Contact (Follow-up Reports)

Recipient choices on the email CC settings in Odoo will be limited to the sub-contacts of the customer/vendor account.

Note that your CC contacts will not show up on your email message wizard or in the history chatter, but they are getting the messages nonetheless.
