Odoo ERP Expert - Manufacturing or Distribution Operations Consulting
We are seeking an ERP software implementation consultant/business analyst with distribution and/or manufacturing business experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Interviewing customer team members about their needs and wants and determining system requirements
- Figuring out software tool solutions to process and information needs
- Support and train client users on features of Odoo ERP system and various improvements Steersman Company makes for it
- Vetting customer questions/requests for completeness and forwarding to other team members when appropriate
- Interacting with client company owners, upper management, and fulfillment staff
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent ability to gather and organize information from various sources, including conversation
- Excellent communication skills – understanding and conveying messages in verbal or written format
- Basic accounting general practices in distribution and/or manufacturing business
- General business processes in distribution and manufacturing business (ecommerce knowledge a bonus)
Computer Software Skills:
- Expert in Odoo ERP software -OR- expert in two or more other ERP systems
- Fluent use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook software
- Excellent ability to “google” things to figure out how to resolve issues
- Proficient in at least one CRM
- Proficient in at least one project management software
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 2+ years experience in business operations management in wholesale distribution, manufacturing, or ecommerce environments
- 2+ years experience in implementing and management of ERP software (either for own company or as a service for clients)
Bonus:
- 2+ years experience in managing ecommerce software
- Degree in business administration or accounting
- Odoo ERP functional certification
