Quote pod

The Quote pod is unique because it can be selected as a trunk-level pod or a child pod. With multiple styling options, it is perfect for highlighting featured quotes from your customers.

This is a Quote pod. This is a child pod with standard styling in a Page Section.

  1. Internal Name: This title will not be visible on the website; it is only used for organizing your content.
  2. Share: If you flag this pod, your chosen content and settings will be saved to be added easily throughout your website. *If you need to change this pod, you can adjust it in one instance, and it will
  3. Content: Under the Content tab, add your text here. You can also include images. Markdown can be applied here.

  1. Align: Select the placement for your Quote pod. If you do not select a placement, it will be centered.
  2. Alternate style: An alternate quote style. This style is white with a slight shadow, wider, and has two quote graphics. This styling also does not have padding above and below the pod. An example of this styling can be seen in the next section.

Trunk-level Quote pods

Below is a regular trunk-level quote pod. It is styled with a greyish-blue background and a quote graphic.

If you select left or right for the alignment, the Quote pod will hug the side of the screen.

Child-level Quote pods

The child-level Quote pods look and work the same way, but because they are in a Page Section or Grid Cell, there are preset margins on the sides.

Customize your Quote pod

Steersman can customize your Quote pods—color, shape, size, and image style—to perfectly match your website’s theme.

Save and publish

To see your updated content on your website, you need to publish your page. In the Websites App, click on the Publish tab. Once there, click the Create button. On the next screen, you will select the website you want the page to publish to (if you have multiple websites) and check the Pages checkbox. Click Save at the top, then click Start.
