Add Brand, MPN, and Active Vendor Columns to the Replenishment Screen In Odoo

Replenishment dashboard

We’ve enhanced the Replenishment dashboard in Odoo to include additional fields that give buyers more context when reviewing stock levels and triggering purchases. This update helps streamline purchasing decisions by making vendor and product details more visible without requiring users to click into each product.

What’s new

The following columns are now visible on the Inventory > Operations > Replenishment screen:

  • Brand(s)
Related to the product’s public brand
  • MPN (Manufacturer Part Number)
Related to the product’s MPN field
  • Active Vendors
Shows a list of all vendors with valid vendor price lines for the product

how it works

The Active Vendors column shows suppliers from the product’s vendor price list that meet the following criteria:

  • The price line has a valid start date in the past
  • The price line has not yet expired
  • Each vendor is listed only once, even if they have multiple active price lines

This makes it easy to quickly identify which suppliers are valid for purchasing without needing to click into each product.

New filter: Active Vendors

A new Active Vendors filter has been added to the Replenishment screen. This is different from the existing Vendor filter, which only filters based on the vendor set on the product’s reorder rule.

The new filter allows buyers to:

  • See all products that can currently be purchased from a given vendor
  • Filter by real-time vendor availability (based on active pricing)

Who this helps

This enhancement is ideal for:

  • Buyers who want more vendor visibility when replenishing stock
  • Purchasing teams managing MPN-based workflows
  • Companies with multiple supplier options per SKU

By providing more context in the replenishment list, this feature helps reduce errors, speed up decision-making, and improve purchasing efficiency.
