Odoo E-Commerce Websites List

Last Updated: November, 2023
Odoo is a powerful business management system that consolidates multiple business processes and data sets into a single platform. The built-in website and ecommerce modules allow Odoo users to publish products and pages, and are utilized by many companies, primarily for basic online store and catalog needs. While some companies opt to integrate their Odoo ERP with other e-commerce platforms, such as BigCommerce, Shopify, or others, there are significant benefits to consolidating and serving the e-commerce site directly from Odoo.
Here is a list of Odoo online store examples, highlighting companies that avoid the complications associated with integrating the ERP and e-commerce platforms.
Adding more Odoo sites to this list
We are actively seeking additional examples of websites that run on Odoo e-commerce to add to this list and would be happy to receive new links to consider. Please email us (email us) if you find a suitable Odoo online store that we haven’t listed here. We won’t include them all, as we aim to showcase only the most interesting and well-built sites. If you are interested in using our technology for your own needs or for your clients in the US or Canada, please email us as well.
Objective criteria to compare the websites

The list of Odoo online store examples with summaries
apps.odoo.com
Odoo’s own applications store is, not surprisingly, among the top ecommerce sites that run on Odoo. It enables users to search and filter products, works efficiently, and features a customer portal where clients can view their order history, pay bills/invoices, and confirm quotes.

dentalplanet.com
Dental Planet operates its online store on Odoo, selling business-to-business (B2B) supplies and equipment to dental practices. It has an extensive catalog with a convenient presentation when viewed on a desktop. However, when viewed on a mobile device, its navigation doesn’t appear well-adapted. It doesn’t seem to use product faceted filters. The on-site search works, although it doesn’t provide close matches or suggestions - for example, both singular and plural variations of a search term produce vastly different results.

legionsafety.com
⚡ This company is in the product distribution/retail business, and its online store and company operations run on Odoo, with Steersman’s Odoo ecommerce microservice. All data is stored and managed in Odoo, utilizing our advanced PIM module, without requiring integrations with any external e-commerce platforms. It supports multi-window shopping while synchronizing the shopping cart. This is an “out of the box” store provided by Steersman, featuring branding and a few custom pages built using our page configuration functionality.

trailerpartsdepot.com
Trailer Parts Depot runs on Odoo and sells trailer spare parts. It is among the newer Odoo websites on this list and visually looks great. The mobile view features a somewhat inconvenient stacked menu (two hamburger menus stacked on top of each other), and the “filters” button in the mobile view allows for the selection of a pricelist. The search on the site appears to be fairly slow; otherwise, it’s a great-looking website.

fitandrack.com
Fit’ & Rack runs its online store on Odoo and sells fitness equipment. The catalog is not very large, but it is clean, and the website looks neat. Product and list pages are convenient on both mobile and desktop devices. However, the nested category tree is located inside the filters menu, displaying as checkbox selections and not allowing actual filtering within categories (instead using subcategories). The on-site search works, although it doesn’t provide close matches or suggestions—for example, both singular and plural variations, or if searching for multiple word combinations that don’t immediately follow each other on a product.

greatamericaninc.com
⚡ Great American Inc. is a distributor of commercial vehicle parts and supplies, with multiple retail locations. The retail stores and online store all run on Odoo for sales, inventory, books, and procurements, with Steersman’s headless e-commerce frontend for the e-commerce website. The company has an extensive catalog, close to a million products, with over 100,000 products listed for sale on its website. The online store focuses on SEO to bring in potential clients, leaning on including as many product identifiers as possible (part numbers, alternative part numbers, OEM parts being replaced, bar codes - any numbers by which clients can search). The store also sells products that have cores, such as a car battery with a core, where the charge for the product is split between the product fee and the core fee. The core fee is refundable if the customer returns an old core within a certain timeframe.

hangertips.com
Hangertips moved to Shopify. Old descriptions and scores below. Hangertips is an online retailer whose ecommerce site runs on Odoo and is an excellent example of a nice small business website. Its pages load relatively fast, and it has a clean, easy-to-use layout. The site isn’t optimized for mobile use, but it stays usable on a mobile device nonetheless. Using filters isn’t very convenient: the filter button and filter menu are small with hard-to-see selections, and the user can easily end up on a page with zero products, as filter selection isn’t dynamic. The site is set to be multilingual, in English and Spanish. On-site search is a bit difficult to find, but it works quickly, although it doesn’t provide results for close searches (i.e., searching for “shirt” produces results, but searching for “shirts” yields nothing).

teacherdirect.com
Teacher Direct website is simple and functional. With a highly graphic home page, the category and product pages are more basic, just regular Odoo online store pages without much flair. The mobile view menus are a bit confusing (with two hamburger menus), but they stay usable.

- Performance – 37/100
- Accessibility – 79/100
- Best practices – 83/100

benandfrank.com
Ben & Frank’s online store looks classy and high-end. The lazy-loading on products is a bit slow, but the functionality and presentation are good - it’s great to be able to change the frame colors right on a list page. Works well on both mobile and desktop devices.

jasani.ae
Jasani is an Odoo online store selling corporate gifts and promotional items. It has a few marketing pages and simple Odoo product listings. Many of the products feature extensive photo galleries, making it easy to see what you’re getting. It is somewhat annoying that the product list pages allow users to select a combination of product categories and filters (such as brand, color, or price) that contain no matching products.

sunchlorellausa.com
Sun Chlorella has been selling chlorella-infused food items, extracts, and creams since 1969. This small business online store runs on Odoo’s ecommerce application. It doesn’t allow users to search for products from all pages, which makes it a bit hard to find products if you like to “search”. However, with a relatively small catalog, it’s easy enough to find products and make a purchase. The site features banners and images throughout, making it visually appealing and providing quick product highlights, which helps make browsing easy. Some of its product view layouts with multiple rows appear in unexpected ways (for example, when a product has no image and highlight text). Using a blog capitalizes on a great marketing tool, although the blog list view isn’t visually appealing. It utilizes the multilingual functionality (based on Google’s indexed pages), but lacks translations for most site content/menus, and doesn’t display the language selection menu. The site uses large fonts and buttons in most places, making it easy for everyone to browse and read.

store.ntstiresupply.com
NTS Tire Supply sells and services tires for agricultural machinery and more. The site runs on Odoo and functions well, although the product filters sometimes display options with no products, and some product categories are also listed without any products. The site is also missing breadcrumbs, which makes navigation a bit confusing. It appears that the on-site search works sporadically (it doesn’t work when searching from a product page); however, the search functionality for selecting sizes is convenient.

- Performance – 26/100
- Accessibility – 65/100

auburnsupplygroup.com
Auburn Supply Group distributes food packaging and operates on a well-designed Odoo website, featuring clean data and a user-friendly presentation. It avoids the use of product filters, thus saving itself from the problem of having filters that direct visitors to a page with no products. However, without filters, some product categories have a bit too many products. Nonetheless, this is among the fastest and most convenient sites that run on Odoo when browsed on a desktop computer. The site doesn’t appear to be designed for mobile use (menu links are too close together, the main menu is always expanded when trying to view a list of products, etc.).

xo2.com.au
XO2 distributes hygiene products in Australia. Their online store is simple and easy to browse. It leverages a blog and displays posts on various types of pages, a valuable capability made possible by Odoo.

fayendra.com
Fayendra is a retailer of jewelry, watches, and luxury pens based in Saudi Arabia. The online store features an attractive design with beautiful product images, though the pages are slow to load. The simple list of categories for their product line is easy to navigate, but the product counts in the search filters don’t always match the product views or text search results. The site supports both English and Arabic; however, switching between languages seems to affect search results (fewer results with Arabic translation).

- Performance – 34/100
- Accessibility – 0/100
- Best practices – 73/100
- SEO – 75/100

formfutura.com
Form Futura operates its online store on Odoo, selling supplies for 3D printing. A nice website with a simple, functional design. Browsing works well for both desktop and mobile, although it is a bit slow. Viewing the cart on mobile is a bit odd, but also functional.

agorafoodtrading.com
Agora’s website offers a variety of food items in a simple layout. The functional site, although it has only a single-level product catalog, can make it challenging to find items when there are many options within a category, as it cannot narrow down the search. Some of its promotions are confusing - “buy one get one free” in the cart is not very clear, as it doesn’t provide a discount or add a free item; you need to be an Odoo expert to know what to expect.

- Performance – 35/100

- Best practices – 80/100

octagen.store
A large store with food and home staples, this one is among the most professional Odoo stores. Its slide-out menu allows browsing the catalog with many categories, though the “categories” menu button itself is located in a somewhat unexpected location. The only serious problem with the user experience is on large category pages - it is inconvenient to. Search results for “fanta” produce 2 breads (they have the word “fantasy” in the name), seve variety’s of Fanta drink, and an air freshner, in that order.

- SEO – 77/100
Pages indexed by Google – 9,480.
textile.center
Appears to be among the best Odoo sites in terms of data quality. Browsing the site on a desktop device is nice. However, the site can direct you to a page without a product if you select a filter (such as color or design variation) and then switch categories. The problem is that it displays no product, and you can’t determine whether a filter is selected, so you can’t resolve the issue. Layouts on mobile are off, but workable. An impressive array of images for all product variations.
