CardPointe Integration for Website Payment Processing

Steersman Odoo Feature: CardPointe integration for website payment processing utilizes Fiserv’s CardPointe PCI-DSS compliant integrated payment solution for non-card-present transactions, allowing distributors with multi-sales channels to process payment information through our virtual terminal for over-the-phone/in-person sales, enable online customers to complete their purchases directly through the B2B retail and eCommerce website using our reliable payment processor, and generate and store customer payment tokens that remain available for future transactions, including EDI (Electronic Data Interchange orders), all within Odoo ERP.

Install and Configure

In the Accounting app, go to Configuration > Payments > Payment Acquirers. Then find the CardPointe Credit Cards tile and click INSTALL.

Once installed, click ACTIVATE to configure the feature.

Enter the production credentials for the CardPointe account under the ‘Credentials’ tab.

Then navigate to the ‘Configuration’ tab and select a Payment Journal from the dropdown menu. All payments processed through CardPointe will automatically post to this accounting journal.

To enable CardPointe for website payment processing, enable the ‘Allow in Portal’ option. Once everything is configured, switch the State option to ‘Enable’, then click the SAVE button to start using our CardPointe integration.

Virtual Terminal Payment Processing

Manually capture payment information using the virtual terminal for invoices and deposits.

• Disable AVS: When selected, the system won’t block transactions when the billing zipcode doesn’t match the card’s registered zipcode
• Disable CVV Validation: When selected, operators can process payments without requiring the security code

After entering payment details, clicking the REGISTER PAYMENT button processes the payment for the invoice amount and automatically creates a secure payment token for this customer’s future transactions.

For returning customers, utilize previously stored customer payment tokens, eliminating the need to re-enter card information.

Online Payment Processing

Online customers can conveniently pay using their stored payment tokens or enter new card details at checkout, simplifying the purchasing process for returning customers.
